The North Kansas City Hospital retained Sys-Tek to evaluate the HVAC systems serving the operating rooms, as they were experiencing issues with low humidity. We performed retro-commissioning services from April 26 through April 28, 2011. The retro-commissioning included testing of each operating room’s dual duct terminal unit and corresponding humidifier. Each terminal unit was tested for both temperature control as well as humidification control. The commissioning process provided a systematic means for stepping through and validating the operation of each piece of equipment.
