Our university & campus experience includes several projects throughout the Midwest, including both the “Big Twelve” and “Big Ten” school systems. Some projects include libraries, dormitories, research laboratories, animal research facilities, veterinary medicine, and central utility projects.
The challenge with these projects is having an engineer that has experience not only with current technology and design standards, but retro-fitting equipment for campus facilities that are 20-30 years old. This is where our commissioning experience provides real value by evaluating equipment not only for look and feel, but functionality as well. In addition, if it does work, how efficiently does it operate, and is there room for improvement?
We not only know how to design a new system for you, but we are able to retrocommission an existing system and identify performance issues that you may be experiencing. We are so confident in our abilities that if we cannot find the root cause of your mechanical or electrical system performance failure, you do not pay our fee. It’s that simple.
