Engineering services for this project included design of a new 1500 kVA Utility Service, a 1000 kW, 1250 kVA Standby Generator with new main service disconnect, Automatic Transfer Switch, and expanded Main Distribution.
Design services included site inspection, analysis, evaluation, engineering calculations, as well as engineering design. The initial task was to survey the facility to quantify as-built conditions by reviewing existing drawings and correlating them to project requirements.
The design process included project management and site coordination with on-site personnel. As the prime consultant, we chaired all project meetings and prepared and distributed meeting notes.
Engineering evaluation included an in-depth review of all electrical loads including a short circuit coordination study using SKM analysis software.
Engineering services included code review, development of implementation options, and preparation of construction budgets. Engineering drawings were prepared and submitted for owner review during the design process.
